Our Story so far …
FOMS Concerts – Friends of Music Series Concerts
St George’s offered a concert series for the first time in 2016 to raise funds to purchase a Grand Piano. The initiative for this came from Leonie Thompson, at that time a master’s student at the Conservatorium and a local resident in Travancore.
We followed that successful effort with a second series in 2017, in subsequent years. After The aim is to provide emerging musicians with a venue to perform to an appreciative local audience, at low cost to audience members and with proceeds to be divided between the parish and the performers.
